UVC Disinfection

UVC disinfection technology during coronavirus pandemic

As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, UV-Design Germany currently receiving more enquiries about UVC disinfection technology. “Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) is a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet (ultraviolet C or UVC) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions.”

UV-Design provides calibrated devices that can be used to control UVC disinfection – especially the lamps used. Our UVC measuring instruments check and control the performance of the systems used and can record data for documentation in the relevant range of 230-280 nm, especially 254 nm. Various devices are available for selection:

UV-MC Microprocessor Integrator
UV-MC SD Microprocessor Integrator
